Ok I think that's enough warning. Ahem this pic here depicts a little fact that is know later on in the TRC universe........the fact that the "Syaoran" that we know is in fact the son of Li Syaoran and Sakura from Cardcaptor Sakura.
I thought that was an amazing tie in. I believed in the beginning that the original ones had nothing to do with this series, but lo and behold, they are indeed.
This is a rendition to the Li family. I saw this pic in my head imagining Sakura and Syaoran going off in a mission, but not without seeing their son (who was probably babysat by Tomoyo).
I hope you guys like it and I did design that outfit myself. Not to CLAMP's awesome designs, but I tried. I figured I kept Syaoran's original outfit because I actually like it a lot and it brings back memories from the show I still hold dear in my heart.

Think about this logically: even if CCS Syaoran and Sakura are not the parents of Tsubasa in TRC, because there are very strong parallels between the two sets - right down to the odd fact that both are related to the same Clow Reed - technically, this could actually be the future of the CCS couple anyway.
